With the recent openings of Casa Cipriani, Zero Bond and the announcement of Major Food Group’s ZZ’s Club slated to open later this year, the landscape of New York’s Private Members Club circuit has started to look a lot like the scene in London. Fittingly, this summer, The Ned is heading to Manhattan to take up the former Johnston Building on 28th Street and Broadway. Straight out of The Gilded Age, the landmarked building which once housed the much beloved NoMad Hotel, is easily recognizable for its ornate limestone facade with Beaux Arts motifs and oozes 1920’s glamour.

Scheduled to open mid-Summer and operated by the team at Soho House, the Ned will have plenty of room for members to dine, drink and socialize across 12 floors. Don’t want to leave? They have 167 bedrooms within their hotel that you can book out with rooms ranging from intimate to large-scale suites. In addition to the three restaurants within the club, they also have a Cecconi’s restaurant accessible for non-members.
